Helping Pets After Harvey

When Hurricane Harvey first hit on August 25th, it set the course for what became one of the most devastating storms in American History. In addition to the incredible amount of damage caused by this hurricane, the truly heartbreaking outcome is the number of people and pets who were negatively impacted by the storm. Our hearts go out to all those who lost a family member during the storm. We also stand by all of those survivors who are trying to rebuild after this incredible disaster.

Because the scale of this storm was so huge, there are a number of ways that pets were affected. Some were separated from their families. While there are a lot of great shelters in and around Houston that are doing everything they can to help these animals, they're also dealing with the fallout of the hurricane. As a result, we are doing our part to help the pets impacted by this disaster and hope you will also.

How You Can Help Local Houston Pets

To donate food, click this link. For every pound you buy to be donated, I will personally match it pound for pound. 30+lbs is 15% off, so together we can donate 60 pounds of food for just $1.28/lb. I will personally deliver the food to the places most in need.

If you want to remain anonymous, let me know because I plan to list names of all who donate. And even if you aren't in a position to support these efforts financially, you can still help all the Houston pets who are in need by sharing this post with your friends and family on Facebook, as well as by email.

Thanks in advance for doing your part to help so many local dogs and cats that truly need it!
